I know it's fine for engine blocks, but what about a cam cover? It shouldn't see much over 100'c.
Edit:
I've just been speaking to a paint guy who said it might blister over time and Celly might be a better bet, so will do some research tonight.
It has to be a mixable paint and not just any heat resistant as it has to be a specific shade.

I’ve painted plenty of cam covers with 2pack and never had any problems with the heat. I’ve also painted quite a few brake calipers and they’ve been fine. The only problem you might have is very pale colours can yellow with repeated heat.

its spot on for rocker covers...done mine prob 15 years ago and no damage or discolouring

One of my early customers worked in a body shop and painted everything on his engine with 2 pack. I'd say it's pretty bulletproof.

pretty poor advice that celly would be better , id put my bets on celly blistering or cracking first
