Damaged vehicle, what parts required?

My ex called me lunchtime yesterday, she was a bit upset explaining how she had just had an accident.
I drove to scene (only 5 mins) to see what was going on.
It seems that she is 100% the innocent party and fortunately no one was hurt.
Ok, the car is a 2008 Scirocco. She is fully insured and I’m certain it’ll be the third party insurer paying for everything.
Due to the age of the Scirocco, it will be written off.
I asked her to get a cost from the insurance co as to buy the vehicle back.
I know it’s incredibly difficult from just the pictures and my description but what parts are likely to be needed to repair?
Ok:
Car drove in straight line after the crash so I’m hoping no chassis damage
Bumper
Grill
The bonnet won’t open: I think the impact push the slam panel inwards
Passenger wing maybe
I’m pretty handy with the spanner’s and could do the above if they are all bolt on parts but if anyone knows otherwise please advise.
The bonnet is slightly damaged but like the wing, I think these could be repaired.
There were no lights on the dash, no airbags were deployed and no damage was sustained by the radiator.
As you can see in the pics, the bottom metal cross member still looks straight.
As you can see, she got off lightly!
She really liked the Scirocco hence wanting to keep it if possible.

Yes, I understand this but I want the option of having the car back as I know it’s a good vehicle.Years ago, I got my TVR back from the insurance company for pittance.
They basically offer you a settlement figure minus scrap value.
You can then keep the car and repair yourself
Id be pushing for repair or a cash in lieu settlement, theres about 15-1600 in parts and the same again in paint and labour at the most from the pics.
You could also tell them youd be happy with a "contract repair", this means they agree an amount with the repairing bodyshop and they repair it with used or non gen pats as they see fit.
Looks like it only really needs a bumper and the associated parts, bonnet may well repair and a headlight?

My ex said she was not happy with this as she planned on keeping the car.
She was told this was not a problem and someone would be In touch within 2-4 days with some figures.
With regard the damage' I had a very quick look yesterday and I could not open the bonnet. I suspect the slam panel has been pushed inwards moving the bonnet latch.
The passenger side wing is also out of alignment.
As I said in my original post; as long as the slam panel and wing are bolt on parts then I will have no problem repairing it myself.

It's a £5k car, there is <£2.5k of damage there at insurance co fix rates.....

I can only tell you what I know so far.
The insurance company have so far said it will be written off. I think pictures etc have been e-mailed across.
With regard the cost of the reapir, don't forget hire car costs.
Unfortunately this is the rip off scheme that costs us all stupid insurance premiums.
A new Vauxhall has been dropped to my ex this afternoon. For argument sake lets say the Vauxhall is £150 a day and the whole process takes 3 weeks (I think it could easily take longer), that's £3150 on the hire car alone.
It can be repaired but if you keep it you have a catted car that'll be worth significantly less, now if you get it cheap then it may be worth it from a cheap car for yourself.
It'll be quicker & cheaper to buy a used bonnet/wing check to make sure you have no leaks from the core pack & get the bonnet open before committing to buying the car because what can look like a simple repair can turn into the car needing a pull so all the bolts for the slam panel can line up.

I have advised her to wait and hear for sure that it is not going to be inspected. As you say, before committing to buying it I will have to get the bonnet open by pulling the front of the car.
I will then inspect the damage and only source second hand parts if it makes financial sense.

It's standard practice. Getting back to the OP's original question of what parts are required. Bonnet, bumper, a headlight, maybe two, grilles, one maybe both wings, possibly a slam panel and associated plastics. Parts could be picked up cheap enough second hand, but labour and painting to a good standard won't be cheap.
Go on 24/7 spares or similar and get a quote for used panels, put in the paint code aswell and with any luck you wont have to do any painting.
My daughter damaged her Yaris and I bought wings, bonnet, slam panel, lights and bumper in the correct colour for buttons. A straight bonnet then helps to line up the wings etc, I am no bodywork expert but this is almost meccano simple.
Just needs a geometry check before starting in case something is badly amiss, everything else is diy.

I went into a local scrap cars place and got a perfectly acceptable bumper with all the lights in it, correct colour, everything for very little. The most expensive part was a new tail pipe.
Wander over to a local place, explain the problem, my local place would offer what parts they think you might need, and supply them in the correct colour (and the odd scratch).
I am also considering this as I now have peeling lacquer on my bonnet and am wondering which will be cheaper / easier - new bonnet already painted correctly, or try re-paint my bonnet.
