Thought that I never had any bird poop etchings but when looking at my Range Rover under the sun I can see I have like 4 bird poo etchings/ stains, I polished them with mer car polish yet I can still see them how do I remove these?

In the other thread you started you said the poop had been there a while ,it's burnt through the paint ,possibly.

Re paint might be the only way.

Rotary polisher and cutting paste, if that doesnt work and you have enough depth of clear coat, then wet sand will be the last resort.

I had this recently, and managed to get all 3 of my etchings out.

I used meguiars ultimate compound by hand with a foam applicator pad. I masked around the stains so as not to disturb the surrounding paint. Apply with moderate pressure and rub in until there is no more product, then wipe off with a clean microfibre cloth. Repeat until the etching is gone, although if it is still there after 3 or 4 goes I would stop as you don't want to go through the paint.

Once I had got them out I got my DA polisher out and using Meguiras correction compound polished the entire panel, the reason I did this is because once the masking tape was removed you could see where I had applied the ultimate compound. Once I had done done this there was no evidence of the bird poo etchings or the fact I had used the ultimate compound. I then just applied a layer of wax to protect the panel.

If you don'f have a DA, applying a good cutting polish by hand should do the same job.

If you are worried about doing it yourself, a good detailer should be able to do it for you.

I have a buffing machine do you think I could get these stains out using this?

The internet cannot see your paintwork.
Give it a try,you probably can't make it any worse.

There’s two posts above yours saying clearly that a buffing machine and the correct cutting compound will work, which one of either of those posts did you not understand?

Ok I have just polished my roof with a buffing machine and then used a rag to clean the roof, when I cleaned the roof with the rag I applied a bit of pressure and when I applied the pressure it made like this popping nose in the body work and the roof looked like it was denting inwards slightly but then dented outwards again, however, I can’t see any dents on the roof,do you think I might have damaged my cars roof at all, the bird etching marks are gone now though!

No, the roof metal is just thin and will flex, like most of a car.

Sensible approach. So often people are told to get a polisher onto their pride and joy, when it's not necessarily required. I've removed bird bombs using Scholl S17 and a G3 pad (white one) without too much trouble. Also seen quite a few videos on YouTube where people apply heat via a hairdryer. TBH not the approach I would take personally but it's been effective.
