Rear lower door arch protector? for a ford?
Discussion
I have rust which I have a solution to turn it into a diferent compound but I want to cover it up afterwards rather than paint it as the paint is very slowly peeling away. So perhaps a colour matched decal or specially made cover for this part of the car? A mechanic told me about such things but I haven't found one for specifically this area.

I'm presuming you mean the rust is a result of stones thrown up by the front wheels hitting that part of the car?
Very common & the reason why your see a lot of cars with clear adhesive plastic stuck over such areas from new to stop the problem.
These are available from the dealers parts depts for the specific cars they are fitted to & are stuck over the paint.
I've no idea where you would get a coloured one & if there isn't a clear one available for that area on your car then you are going to have to find suitable plastic material & make your own.

It's where a previous owner let the seat belts hit the bottom of the door frame. I have appplied rust converter, I'll use touch up paint and I will have find some clear vinyl to cut to shape to stick over the top before it gets worse. It's in an area where the vinyl will have to go around a bend and fold over so I will have to figure that bit out ha although I remember that vinyl is stretchy.
