Morning all,

Reversed my Jaguar XF into a bin this morning. Does the attached pic look like something a Chips Away type, could do or is it a bigger job? Will the whole wing need replacing?

Cheers! My own fault completely mind. What a wally.

Not sure if Chips Away could sort that, but a body shop could probably easily take the bumper off and get behind the skin and smooth it back into shape. No idea on cost.

Semi-interested if you do get this fixed; I have a similar dent on my z4 but I've not got round to getting quotes.

Cheers. I do suspect it'll be too big. Just worrying about needing a new bloody wing as that'll be an insurance job.

Minor.
Looks like a slight misalignment between the panels.
Needs bumper off & beating/pulling back to shape before paint. Not new wing territory if that's all there is.
Not man-in-a-van on your driveway.

Nice one - much appreciated.

Aye that's all there is. Any idea of costs?

Is this the current XF or the previous/original one. Current one is aluminium so you'll want a bodyshop with experience of that.

Got this booked in £450. Bumper off & then dent pulled out & edges tidied.
