Picked up a bottle of Fog-X because according to the bottle it ' prevents your car windows steaming up'.

So I put on a tiny amount and wiped off the excess and if anything it's made the windows fog up more and hazy at dusk.

I want to get rid but using a microfibre cloth just sees to move it about and not remove it.

Any Advice?

Wet cloth wrung out wipe over then buff off with dry cloth not microfibres more like a household drying up cloth And see how you get on, to remove it completely will probably require a silicon remover

Heating the windows up and some decently absorbent cloths tend to get it to where it needs to be so you don’t get the smearing or haze. It’s difficult to get the right amount on.
Use a cotton tea towel or similar rather than a microfibre; I’ve found it can often just push it around the window with them.
If you want to take it off after that, IPA/ solvent or normal vinegar based glass cleaner and a decent amount of shop towel or kitchen roll will do.

Ive used that stuff and it definitely made a big difference. Are you sure you have applied it correctly?

Same, we use it on our race cars. Are you sure the glass was perfectly clean before applying it and really heavily rubbed in?

This^ and also using too much product seems to be the cause of this
