Does anyone know when this will be available in the UK?
Last I saw it should have been December the 1st.

Yeah - the latest info i can find is 1st of Dec release , which obviously hasn't happened yet as i cant seem to find it anywhere.

Interested to get my hands on the range to see how they compare to Gyeon / Meguiars Offerings.

Aren't Turtle Wax doing loads of these products? I have the Sealant Hydrophobic Wax, and I noticed there's a few more when I popped into Halfords yesterday. Anyone know the differences between the products in this new product line?

The Hybrid range is great value when bought with discount from ECP / CP4L.
  • Sealant Hydrophobic Wax - formulated to be applied to a dry car (more durable)
  • Dry & Shine Rinse Wax - formulated to be applied to a wet car (a bit finicky)
Those two are known to be very resistant to car cleaning products, and I've seen the former last several months. No body seems to care about the waterless wash, snow foam or black spray polish, but the sealant in particular gets rave reviews.

There's a new Ceramic Range too, only just hitting the shops. IIRC five products including an all in one polish, sealant and wet wax. The sealant and wet wax apparently are similar to the hybrid versions, but more expensive and not as good! See the detailing channels on Youtube if you want to know more.

I watched a review on Youtube from 'forensic detailing channel' and decided to try the Turtlewax Dry & Shine in the blue bottle instead. The Hybrid one is too expensive for what seems like a very similar product.

I watched that too...Looks like it outperformed the more expensive product.. I do like his channel.. Funny that the Turtlewax brand makes a return to detailing, as always regarded it as a cheap brand growing up and not a high end brand.. Cannot seem to shake off that perception..

Anybody tried any of these yet?

I quite fancy giving the ceramic polish 3 in 1 stuff a go.

I'm assuming that I'd use that in the same way as I'd use a normal polish but it would be the final stage.

I guess I'd need to look at getting some ceramic wax as well to keep on top of it.

Quite like the thought of doing DIY ceramic coating. I've used natty blue for years, which is dead easy and I like it but it's not particularly durable.

I think I'll pick some up and give it a try. Was thinking I might go the whole hog and get the 3in1 polish, spray sealant and the detailing spray. It's interesting watching a couple of vids where the sealant is also used on windscreen, wheels and plastics etc. Hadn't really thought about that use for it but could replace a few products.

I bought the Dry and Shine stuff from Carparts4less because they're usually the cheapest...£4.82 with 'merry20' as a code https://www.carparts4less.co.uk/p/turtlewax-dry-sh...
But the Ceramic stuff hasn't made it there yet.

Please, has anyone got this stuff and can tell me off the label what the acceptable temperature range is for using the new ceramic polish (via DA) and applying the ceramic spray? Can’t find it with google. I know it is ok with heat/sun but not sure about low temps.

I washed the missus’s SLC today and the car still looks nicely prepped for winter but I planned a very minor correction on it in the spring - the style where I would normally use Megs 205 on a CG hexlogic orange pad. I want to give this stuff a whirl instead as it reviews pretty well and with roughly equivalent correction capability on tinterweb and fancy seeing it on her grey metallic.

I will have to do it outside, hence temperature range is important. It all seems a bit too good to be true and I am a bit impatient to try it sooner rather than wait for warmer weather. I will put the clay in warm water of course... smile

TIA.
