Maybe try the Valeo or Trico offerings from here.

I've had nothing but this problem with Bosch blades, so my conclusion was that they're crap. Gone back to genuine. In truth, the only electrical problems I've ever had on any cars were also all attributable to Bosch parts, leading to the inevitable summation that Bosch simply turn out dross across the board. Avoid.

Not sure where to get OE blades from?
The franchise dealer! He just means blades from the vehicle maker, although I'm not sure I buy the spring tension bit. I've always used Bosch on all the family cars and not had an issue.

Years ago wiper arms twisting so they didn't sit parallel to the surface of screen used to be a thing but I haven't heard of that for years - you used to twist them (carefully) so they were parallel.

I have vague recollections of someone being unable to resolve juddering wipers and eventually changing the screen!
Yes sorry I mean the genuine aftermarket parts.
The spring pressure is completely true and something which has a fair amount of tuning done before vehicle launch depending on screen curvature to get good cleaning without juddering at all speeds. Like I say, it’s my day job.

Fake wipers? Never had any issues with Bosch aeroblades, methylated spirits and Decosol on ANY car in 30 years.

As someone has said, juddering is caused by misalignment of the wiper arm / wiper or a distorted wiper blade that causes pressure as the blade travels.

You could try wiping the blade with silicone spray or using RainX as a temporary fix

Hi,

Just to provide an update, I replaced the Bosch blades with a set of Michelin items. Problem resolved, indicating the problem is with those Bosch wipers supplied by Euro Car Parts.

Thanks,

Funnily enough I’ve had similar problems. Been getting Bosch blades from euro for years. Last ones have been Juddery, used to be like silk. I always clean my screen with a clay bar prior to fitting them, but this time they are not very good. Either the quality’s dropped or they have changed manufacturer etc.
