I've been noticing recently that my gear changes are a bit stiff, but it's not on every drive.

It feels almost like the gearstick is getting caught on something as I put it into gear, which feels amplified if I try and shift quickly. There is no noise that comes with it, but what's really got me stumped is that it doesn't happen when I'm stopped, it only happens on the move, even with the clutch pedal on the floor.

I've had the gearbox oil changed and taken it to a transmission specialist who says there is nothing wrong with it, but I can definitely feel something is there, especially when on the slip road to work shifting quicker

Anyone any ideas?

What car?
What mileage?
Have you checked any vehicle specific forums to see if it's a known problem for the make & model?

Sorry, that would probably help

Seat ibiza 1.2 fr 2016 with 40,000 miles.

Yes, I've looked on seat forums and posted to seat specific forums and Facebook groups with no replies.
What I've found searching on the forums is other people have had similar issues, but I've found most of these posts also either have no replies or have had replies of other people having similar issues.
The seat community doesn't seem to have an answer, so I posted it here rather than in the Seat subsection

Not had a chance to do it today, but I reverse into my driveway on a daily basis and it does make a crunching noise when selecting reverse from time to time if I don't come to a complete stop before selecting it. It only ever makes the noise in reverse though

The clutch isn't disengaging fully. It's either worn or has a fault in the hydraulics.
