Wheel damage repair

On the way to work this morning, imagine my surprie when a full grown Tiger (yes! a Tiger!) jumped out in front of me! Obviously, orange and black stripes don't go with blue paintwork so I had to swerve and clip the kerb resulting in a rather nasty graunch in the side of my wheel. It's not particularly deep, but runs about 1/3 of the way round. I'm mightily pis:censored:ed of at a) the zoo for not keeping their big cats under control and b) myself for hitting said kerb.

Anyone got any tips for repairing damaged wheels as I'm trying to sell the car, or is it a refurb job?

1/3rd of the way around? Sounds like a refurb job to me, but then again, I'm a bit of a perfectionist. Don't you just hate it when wild animals are left to roam on our roads though? Shocking behaviour!
