I have a 54 plate Volkswagen Polo 1.2 E in metallic blue. I was driving up the M6 near to Stoke-On-Trent a few days ago and a lorry was dropping gravel onto the road in front of me (the driver didn't realise) which has caused a few stone chips on the front bumper and bonnet.

What is the best way to treat these by myself (without having to send the car to a bodyshop or anything)? The stone chips haven't gone all the way through to the metal but still I want to get them sorted out, considering it was gravel that was hitting the car the chips aren't huge either. You can only see them when you get quite close to the bodywork.

Any tips and advice is greatly apprechiated :-)
