I wish to raise a complaint. Since completing the above procedure my car is now so shiny that getting the cover on and off is almost impossible - the bloody thing just slides off the other side!

(and yes it does need a cover as it has to live outside).

Can't say im a fan of covers outside but if it works ok for you.

Indeed! (and it wasn't even dual action). Thanks to you and Belle I took the car back to the September show today and met the bloke with the shiny DB9 which had started it all. He thought I'd done a very good job.

Re a cover; it's better than having my car covered with leaves, twigs and birdpoo (it's half under a laburnum tree and a huge ivy). It stays much cleaner for longer.

I thought of putting a big fleece blanket underneath to stop any tiny scratching, but couldn't find one big enough.
