Hi

I'm planning on emigrating from the UK next year and thinking of bringing my Noble with me. So firstly thanks for all the threads on the process but secondly anyone aware of any Nobles already in the country ?

Thanks for an info

Not heard of any here, there's a big thread in this section with all the import info you need.

Hi James. Have been in Adelaide for nearly 7 years with a 3R. Turns a few heads as very few have seen one before.Import is fairly straight forward as long as all the paperwork is done properly.Plenty info on here on how to do it.

Here it is in the flesh. Taken at this years All British Day in Adelaide. :-)

As Stv mentioned, the PI process is pretty simple and I'd definitely do it again.

Errrm, Noble lol. the model is GTO 3R. They tinkered with officially importing them into Oz but the price tag would have been around $200k so the idea was dropped like a hot potato (or so I read).

The rights were sold to Rossion in the US who now make it albiet with a different body and interior.

There was a batch of 3 brought in by the same importers as Rover/MG that were in the process of the compliance formalities when they went into liquidation.

Seem to recall they appeared in the liquidation auction catalog at the time but didn't end up being sold and were sent back to the UK instead.

Look at carsales.com.au to see how much an equivalent performance car would cost here.

You'll regret it if you don't. The PI process is very simple and basically to get the vehicle into the country and on the road will cost about 20% of the original purchase price of the car.

Sorry for the 10 year thread resurrection!

I'm in Australia at the moment and I want a Noble M12-3R. I realise I cannot buy one here and will have to import one. Anybody know what the value of an M12 is here in Australia?
