My car of choice after working in Europe and Sweden for 17 years and owning Saabs there and coming back home here are Saabs. The neat thing I discovered in Sweden is that when you slide on ice and do a magnificent slow roll over and end up on the roof and the car you have at the time is an old 99 Saab which is almost bullet proof plus it had the shape of a jelly mould with no sharp edges and is made precisely for this purpose . In OZ the first Saab was a 2001 New 95 Aero during the 7 years of ownership tuned it to stage 3 went well except the auto box was a weak link. Then purchased a new manual 93 Turbo X ... in 2008 , now running stage 5 hitting well over 400 HP and tends to worry the locals somewhat as they distinctly believe that Saabs are slow and driven by responsible owners ..
