Anyone got any recommendations for car based activities in and around Hobart? Maybe even the rest of Tassie...

Thanks!

Targa Tasmania in April. 5 day tarmac rally event. All makes, and classes from Historic to modern such as Lamborghini, Ferrari etc. Full race cars on the closed public roads.
Visit Pooley Automobiles, the Porsche/Alfa/Subaru dealer John Pooley was/is a great rally/racing driver and very hospitable.

John Pooley hasn't owned a dealership for years and there is no Alfa dealer in Hobart.

Thank you for the information regarding John Pooley, do you know him? Please pass him my regards. He kindly sponsored my car on the Targa in 2004.

Targa is an event definitely worth attending.
