So after 2.5 years of owning the 300 SRT from new, and just over 10,000Km's I decided to let it go.

The end of the warranty was fast approaching and whilst it never put a foot wrong, I got a little jittery over the risk of owning it for much longer given Chrysler has pulled from the market.

All was not lost though, I got more than I paid for it brand new in 2019 and that allowed me a healthy deposit on it's replacement.

I wanted something practical, as in, fit a mountain bike in the back, or a kayak on the roof practical, but at the same time didn't want to give up on some of the toys I'd gotten used to such as adaptive cruise control, climate control, leather etc.

So I bought a VW Passat Alltrack Wolfsburg Edition.

Looks good. We have a Golf Alltrack atm, I like it way more than I expected to.

Yeah, me too.

Everything just feels better quality, not that the 300 was bad, but the general feel is better, I like the full nappa seats, I like the full digital dash and the entertainment screen and reversing camera are better, the audio though isn’t anywhere near the 19 speaker Harmon Kardon of the 300 smile

The 7 speed DSG is amazing when you are at speed with its undetectable gear change, pulling away and very low speed is a different story though, you have to plan your pulling out much more!

I also like that the sat nav is upgradable with free maps, the latest map for the 300 was 2017, and I also like that I can customise stuff with an ODBEleven, the ECU’s were locked in the 300.
