That's lovely! Well, Saturday was one of the best days of my life so far, my first ever sports car, and what a way to begin.

I was over the moon! I'd put 400 miles on it by Sunday evening, and was on course to have the running in service done in a week or so's time...
...then this happened:

Young lad on a motorbike went into the back of me as I was sitting stationary at lights. Poor kid, it happens and I don't think he really deserved the amount of shouting at that he got. I was very, very upset though. Credit to him, he instantly admitted fault to his insurers and hopefully it'll be all sorted out soon.
Onwards and upwards. Can't wait to drive it properly! Roll on 1,000 miles.

Glad you've not taken it to heart. Easily fixed, just darn annoying.

Only just seen that, I can imagine your anger! Once I knew the lad was ok I'd have been equally furious
Cracking looking Evora you've got there in a classic colour scheme They really are great cars, hope you get it sorted soon and back to new condition

A few laps of the M25 will scrub off those running in miles.

Three weeks later and a trip to Bath, Manchester and a few days in the highlands, she's now sitting pretty at 3,324 miles. A few laps of the M25 will scrub off those running in miles.

Have my wedding on Saturday - as the Slotus is hopefully going to be in a number of pictures I gave it a good clean and wax this morning. Given it’s done about 4 track days without a clean it came up ok - the black is coming off a few of the grilles and the front one is bent after a recovery :/
Will have to get those sorted (and the rest of the rubber off the lower quarters) as soon as I can

Sadly it's been doing this a lot recently, sitting outside the flat as I've been busy and driving my Fiesta a lot in and out of Kensington.
I've been wondering about getting a second set of wheels with some Michelin Alpins on, the Cup 2s really don't like the cold and wet and it does make it less enjoyable to try and drive aggressively. I wish I had gone to the Newlands Corner meet last weekend, there were a good few people ther including GFWilliams, I've been wanting to have a look around his Exige for ages. Next time.
