The dark green is very dark. Close to black in some lights. I took the sample outside into the sun yesterday and think it looked good, but Mrs B is not a fan of green frown

Really annoyed with myself that I didnt note the volvo colour names down. Th only one I can remember is Saville Grey
Surely the yellow isn't a Volvo colour?

You are probably right. I recognised the names of the dark grey, silver and red as Volvo colours, and think the blue could be the polestar blue.

Re: Empire Green (if same as Dark Verdant as suggested by observed names on the colour sample).

Here are some pics I put on the pics thread a while back when I was looking at an Exige in this colour (did not go ahead, but fancy the Emira in it).

These are professional pics, and likely make it look as good as it can be, but doesn't it look just great?:

The blue on Polestars is Rebel Blue.

Harry Metcalf 'You could have come out with the convertible first and then it'll be fine"

Russel Carr "hahahaha"

Harry Metcalf "moving swiftly on"

Did anyone else the the sense that Harry and Russel had talked about a forthcoming convertible Emira but were not allowed to mention it?

Would be surprised if so, as it would have been edited out if it was embargoed

This was my final spec and additional 3k paid:

V6 FE Manual
Sport chassis
Goodyear tyres
Blue, Silver wheels, yellow calipers.
Alcantera / yellow interior
Tracker
NO privacy glass

However upon seeing the paint samples in the flesh, the red seems quite a bit brighter than the configurator suggest so I am tempted to go red now, especially as the metallic in the red also seemed to really pop, whereas the metallic in the blue is rather subdued. I am really hoping Lotus will get a red car out on display before the spec and final deposit of £2800 is requested in Dec/Jan time.

After seeing the sample is has more metallic and is brighter than the configurator suggest, really hoping Lotus get some more cars out in the different colours.

Exactly how my current spec is looking. May add black pack (or wrap it black - same effect, cheaper with protection). Nimbus grey also nagging me.

One thing for certain though is that it looked epic in the flesh (in blue).

maybe that red with gold-ish wheels would look great, but I guess no gold-ish wheel option.

I had my GT86 wheels resprayed gold for less than £140 each with a really thorough strip, pain, lacquer at a quality company. Its really not that expensive.

It does, however, have to be declared on the insurance as a "modification", plus if the NIMBY's get their way, it will be illegal to modify too.

If I wanted to paint my wheels, I'd would paint them and no one or no law will tell me otherwise. smile

AMG engine
Red
Yellow calibers
Diamond cut wheels.

TBO all the colours look good, the red and green are a lot darker.

Interesting to see blue is the most popular . I just want a different colour to the masses.
