Seeing a thread by a fellow pher about rotting cars do any of you have before after images of cars you have bought/rescued/stolen/inherited etc and have then restored to former glory .

Fiat Dino Spider, found in a barn (clique!) took a very long time to track down all missing parts; even longer to stick it back together....well worth the effort.

Before/during/after photos..

I didn't do the bulk of the resto (although I have spent 17 yrs researching it and sourcing the bits), but it started out like this:

then ended up like this:

then after a great many problems, disputes, and a heap of aggro to this:

Still some work to do now it's back home, but the worst is behind (I hope)

Not my own restoration, but one from a forum I visit through our hobby. An absolutely heroic effort, with virtually every part being hand fabricated by the chaps who restored her. Real craftsmanship at its best, taking the best part of 10 years to complete.

Fairthorpe Zeta? I found a wrecked TX in a scrapyard many years ago. Sadly I wasn't brave enough to rescue it.

Astonishing.

Very rewarding to turn up somewhere special in that I should think.

17 years! Well done.
