The windscreen drop made me cringe. I'm embarrassed to admit I even have it on!

2 days to find an engine? There's loads on eBay surely?

Comedy gold. The "windscreen donor" mustang being on top of a Volvo when there was open space all around. The joke smoke when they tried to start it. The repeat row and walk=out by the staff. Putting on the new wheels before respray, when slave wheels were available. Mario not checking the state of the original engine before agreeing a price.

Pathetic, but compulsive viewing.

Same valuation joker too!

I don't see much restoration at all unless it was originally a blue Mustang Boss convertibubble....

(good wheel/tyre choice though)

About £19000. Hmm...And did that valuer fly over there just for them?

(The voiceover said when they bought the car that it was unique (electric clock ticked on options list), and therefore worth more. Then they made a Boss clone, reducing the intrinsic value)

Surely he'd want to see all that welding before he's attach his reputation as a valuer to that old shed? That engine noise was dubbed too!

This has got to be the best episode yet yes

Mario has got to get an Oscar for his "screen dropping" performance hehe
that was a golden globe winning performance! its a strange mix of a programme, they buy a car without looking under it for rot, find engines fully rebuilt, fix a major engine problem every week and have a major row /walkout once per episode as a minimum

i think the programmes about OCC and the warring Teutuls have a lot to answer for as all the latest progs now seem to feature families or people fighting while rebuilding stuff, and making the people into stars (supposedly)

I must have mellowed in the last week, as I didn't scream at the television or phone a lawyer. I've had my rant, and this show is just too stoopid to get bothered about.

Somehow the American location seemed more in tune with "The Simpsons" level of accuracy. Shows where this series at aimed at market wise. Makes Orange County Choppers look like NASA, and makes Top Gear look like a Horizon documentary.

Watching it on +1 and I have to say the Canadian mechanics are much better than Magic and the other bodgers.

Shame the fabricated replacement panels had OPG (Original Parts Group) stickers on them. rolleyes

So far nowhere near as bad as the UK builds.
