Would have been more fun the other way around.
I saw someone post a video of an F1 car on the track with a bunch of "hypercars" it played around a bit doing donuts and then drove through the pack like they were stationary. I'd have thought a fast moving little car or cars dodging in and out of these pickups would be have been a lot more fun.

I was waiting for the 500s to gang up on the pickup at the end.

It's true in real life. The speed differential is astonishing.

I have never seen the attraction of those massive pick ups or the like.
I suppose are equivalent in size is the traditional transit open back. smile
Over the years I have known two guys in England who have bought American pick ups and to be honest with you, both were knobs!
I find them quite repulsive, reek of everything that is wrong with the US of A. Consumerism gone mad, don't give a toss about the planet, biggest is best. As you say, complete knobs.
I got into a heated discussion on twitter about these. The forward and rear visibility on them is awful. You could have a four foot tall child standing in front of them and you literally cannot see them from the cab. About 50 children a year are killed by being run over by vehicles at low speed. Apparently this is fine and as a driver you should always be aware of your surroundings and if you think that is a problem you shouldn't be driving. They are a bloody menace on the roads.

They are also utterly useless load beds as they are so damn high up you would struggle to lift anything heavy into them.
I was next to a couple with a Nissan pickup things at a caravan site recently. Poor bugger had to lug all his gear up and into the load bed - one of those forklift trucks that dangle off the back of artic trailers would have been useful.

No, just a regular elderly couple. Didn't actually fit the pickup demographic.

Stolen from another thread... How is that yellow Porsche the same size as the '67 Camaro, a 4-seat American muscle car?

The Camaro isn't a muscle car, rather a 'pony' car and not particularly big.

Those Camaros/Firebirds were boats at the time.
