I'd probably choose the Moggy for its creature comforts and superior top speed. smile

That's amazing, really shows how cars have grown. The Ami isn't even considered a proper car these days. The Minor was a medium-sized family car.
I'd also choose the Minor - for its superior ability to stay upright. biggrin

I want to have a go in an Ami, but think the novelty would wear off in a couple of minutes. Not keen on Minor's though so it would be a tricky choice.

That image has been doctored to exaggerate the difference. Here's the original

Which is classic?

I am not sure what this proves. MINI is a brand, not a model.

The Audi is getting on for 20 years old (the B7 ran from around 2004 to 2007 or 2008) - the Mini (and I am no expert on those models) looks a fairly recent model. To answer Nick's comment, yes Mini is a brand not a model, but its still a little bit ridiculous to have a derivate of something which started out as a reboot of the issigonis variant being larger than an estate based on a family sized saloon model..

It doesn't bother me. What are BMW supposed to do? Make the original size or just make the 3-door hatch? And not grow th range in case someone wants a bigger car?

Maybe it's up to us to see past the name or the brand and just judge a product by its merits.

I thought the original was terrible but I will admit I am quite tall with long legs so quite biased.

Nope.

The Audi is not a classic.

You're correct - was a bit bleary eyed this morning. A .1 and a .2. Never realised how different they were.
