It's an Eagle Speedster isn't it? What are they, £700k?
Prefer a proper E type - these just scream more money than tasteWhile the hot rodder in me can appreciate the workmanship in the upgrades......the old car nut in me would rather have an original spec E, with much patina and distinctly lacking in 'gloss'

Hang on, this is PistonHeads. While the hot rodder in me can appreciate the workmanship in the upgrades......the old car nut in me would rather have an original spec E, with much patina and distinctly lacking in 'gloss'
Surely the only right answer is I want to have both, but neither is, of course, as good as the MX5?!

That Monterverdi Hai 450 - brings back memories of playing Top Trumps at school in the 70's
That's what I said when I saw it! It was a good card to have.
Engine size and top speed were unbeatable from memory.
It did have Chrysler 426 Hemi in it which explains why it trumped most things back then when it came to engine stats (other than number of cylinders)

Loving the early X1\9.
They look great with the thin bumpers don't they? When I was at college ,most of us had old bangers for transport.
One bloke ,a Jack Barclays apprentice and son of a very well known sportsman ,had a new X1/9 1500.
