And yes, of course I know what the said car is in pic. Please refrain from copying it, thanks.
That pic? Is that the one you don't want PHers to copy, the one you've uploaded to a public forum with millions of visitors a month?

Just tripped over this thread while trying to find things to do other than work....

Can anyone read French? This page might already have been referred to (I'm not trawling 30+ pages)

They don't know what it is either but asking if it might be the same coachbuilder as the Simca 8 above it.

Has this become a spooks' thread?

Can't say what it is for fear of being eliminated, pictures of Aston Martins on a transporter in the UK, some old Welsh sports car, confirmation that a photo taken approx 6o years ago is where people think it is (France) but no answer as to what the mystery car is.

Dan, have you been overdoing it a little since Christmas?

Possibly French? biggrinbiggrin

A bit before my time but I think: 2. Lancia Ardea, 3 Citroen 11 or 15, 4 Simca Aronde, 5. Renault Dauphine, 8 Simca Aronde, 9. Renault 4CV, 10. Peugeot 403

I think you Ardea is a Renault of some kind, probably a Primaquatre.

Fairly convinced that is a Lancia Ardea - the heavy slope of the grille & diagonal orientation of the side vents are give-away features for a Lancia in my view.

The Primaquatre had horizontal side vents I believe.

This was the model I was thinking of - later cars had a more American-style radiator shell.

Is the van #8 something like a Juvaquatre Fourgonette?

This was posted three years ago.

I added the numbers.

I'd say Renault Primaquatre rather than Lancia Ardea because of the separate chrome headlamps, but I could be wrong.

Looks like the newest car there is the Renault Dauphine, introduced in 1956.

The cars are:
12. Citroen DS 1955
11. Peugeot 203 1948
10. Peugeot 403 1955
9. Renault 4CV 1947
8. Simca Aronde Grand Large 1955

????
6. Renault Juvaquatre station wagon/Dauphinoise 1950
5. Renault Dauphine 1956
4. Simca Aronde 1955
3. Citroen Traction Avant big boot, so 1952?

mystery car

2. Renault Primaquatre 1931
