Discussion
Just tripped over this thread while trying to find things to do other than work....
Can anyone read French? This page might already have been referred to (I'm not trawling 30+ pages)

They don't know what it is either but asking if it might be the same coachbuilder as the Simca 8 above it.Can anyone read French? This page might already have been referred to (I'm not trawling 30+ pages)

Has this become a spooks' thread?
Can't say what it is for fear of being eliminated, pictures of Aston Martins on a transporter in the UK, some old Welsh sports car, confirmation that a photo taken approx 6o years ago is where people think it is (France) but no answer as to what the mystery car is.
Dan, have you been overdoing it a little since Christmas?
Possibly French?

I think you Ardea is a Renault of some kind, probably a Primaquatre.
Fairly convinced that is a Lancia Ardea - the heavy slope of the grille & diagonal orientation of the side vents are give-away features for a Lancia in my view. The Primaquatre had horizontal side vents I believe.

I added the numbers.
I'd say Renault Primaquatre rather than Lancia Ardea because of the separate chrome headlamps, but I could be wrong.
