It was actually a Mk1 Big Wing in Modena, reg was OKO***M.
Probably got a photo of it somewhere......seem to recall it was fitted with BBS type multi spoke rims when it first appeared?(this would have been around mid 80's)dxg said:
Stumbled across a little local garage / dealer in Scotland at the weekend with what looked like one of those sitting for sale.
Or, at least, it was that colour and had those arches on it...

Found it... well this is from 2007 not aware of who has it now ?
Nice one, well found I could be wrong but the last time I saw a pic online of the car was a shot of the front tyre showing the width from the front or something like that, think that was it...tyre was certainly large thats for sure. Was a few years back now and most likely an OSF post 1962 said:

Thanks for the photo as I meant to take one today, I saw the Modena RS2000 thereand thought of this thread. It looks so much better in Modena than the Cortina Mk3 my Dad had back in the day (LUX609P, but I should imagine it is long gone now).
Oliver.

They are great to drive even today. Apart from the visuals and the sounds, it feels modern to drive!
