I'd be interested to know the background; the Jensen was regd in Nov 2003, tax due Nov 2004, so it appears to have been off the road since it was 12-months old.

It could have been abroad.

Just north of Boston, Lincs. I’ve put it in here before but there’s so few left I like to show it some love each time I drive past.

I posted the same pic a couple of years back, as I live locally. Although, has the Jensen moved round the back now?? Real shame. Just wondering what is in the garage????

"Well he went out to check the sump plug seal on the Merc in 2002. I'm surprised he's not back by now"

Also, what's that left of frame? Avantime I think

Is this a classic? SORN’d (even though it’s parked on the road!) and no MoT since December 2024 …

Some years ago I had one of these, but the 1.8 version (the one pictured is a 1.6).

The 1.8 was apparently the smallest v6 engine at the time I believe?

The engine was an absolute peach - it really did like to rev.

The rest of the car wasn't too bad either.

I know that 928 (and limo). Walthamstow just off Hoe Street. Been there since around 2020, I think.

It has, uh..., some issues. https://maps.app.goo.gl/UvnecnhqXuPWwMBQ8

Looks to be an S4. Any idea if it’s a manual ? I used to mini cab around Walthamstow in the mid 80s, i recall the roads name, but am struggling to recall where in Walthamstow that is !

Will take a look to see if it's a manual next time I'm out. It's the Hoe St end of Byron Road, near 'The Bell' junction with Forest Road. Used to be the Texaco petrol station by there and the old snooker club. smile

I had a Rapier Fastback H120 many years ago in a pale yellow colour with a sliding sunroof. Yes, not many left these days.

That would be great ! I’m still struggling to recall where this is though lol and to think that I grew up in Chingford and knew the area well ! The mini cab office was in Forest road, same side as the Plod station, but a couple of hundred yards before.
Tragic that 928 is sitting there like that….
