Very rusty looking for aluminium; the engine looks quite like a B series and the wheel is reminiscent of an austin cambridge, could it be an A55 van?

I'm sure it's a classic... an Isuzu based Bedford KB26 from about 1983/4.

I'll raise your Bedford for a couple of 90's barges. Granny

And in the house opposite, C Class

And proper flat roof pub chic, mouldy Shad

Back in the 80's when I lived in SA, as a delivery driver I drove one of these (Isuzu branded) on a daily basis.

The slightest slope (not even hill!) would cause it to slow down.

One particular memory that stays with me; I was delivering a very heavy motor (probably just about within the load limit for the vehicle), and in order to 'make progress' I would pull out the choke / enrichment device leaving a trail of black smoke in my wake. I got pulled over by a cop because of that!

Haha. Reminds me of setting the heater on my old Imp to the hottest setting and full blast on the hottest day of the year to help stop it overheating. Not very comfortable.

A55 van is exactly what I thought. Definitely a van because of the pressings and what remains of the vent. The lever arms still have bits of the body attached smile

Spotted this one from Google Earth recently, too far off the beaten track to get a proper pic even though it is local...

OK.....I'll give it a go!

Scale is a bit of a guess but looks to be a full size American sedan. Something like a 1970's Ford Thunderbird.

Colour looks too modern for a 70s Ford. Plus it looks like it has a glass sunroof and quite a stubby bootlid. I reckon, for those reasons, and the for the contours of the bonnet, it's an X Type (which is also quite likely to be parked in a field!).

I reckon that's a late-eighties or early-nineties BMW 5 Series - one of the squared-off looking type.
