I could see a K11 Micra, but it looks too big compared to the Golf & 3 series above / below it to my mind?. It looks like it had plastic arches like a Mk3 Golf GTI etc at some point too so I'm flummoxed.

Some bright spark will correctly name it & we'll all be "ah so it is" now you say it lol !!
Door shape and lower "flutes" - Transit Connect?

A good Elise is worth decent money these days, just a shame those ones don't look too good!

Saw this little lovely MK1 today when I was getting my truck inspected.
It's been sat for 2 years but does actually run.

A Zender spoiler. I had one on a Mk1 GTI, helps to increase the low pressure area at the back of the car, and ensure that the tailgate and rear window becomes filthy as quickly as possible.

Looked good, though.

In a sleepy local village I was in the other day, I suddenly remembered it as a place I’d seen a row of cars in an outbuilding. I can’t even remember whether I posted a picture previously so I thought I’d best try and get one. You’d need to know these were there really as you have to be about 7ft tall to even see them from the pavement - but an arm in the air did the trick. Very dark pic though as the day in question wasn’t the brightest. Probably the largest collection of old Simcas in these here parts … the K reg one on the extreme right is SORN’d but has no MoT record online.

It’s 3/4 years since I was last here and had the time to get a shot so methinks nothing is/will happen/ happening with them …

I remember seeing a fair few scudding round when I was a kid. Always made a pleasant change from a Mini, Imp or Beetle. In my youthful head they were air-cooled, probably because of the rear-engined connection to Beetles, but they weren't.

They seem popular on historic hill climbs and rallies abroad, maybe saving them for being the next mk2 Escort?
