"oh, it's just a Scimitar that, forget about it", and the usual "didn't they make 3 wheelers" remark as if owning or appreciating a Scimitar is something to be ashamed of.
Reliant was one of the biggest automotive manufacturers in the UK, ..bigger than Jaguar and a few others who think they are king of the hill. Their production didn't stop at Scimitars and three wheelers, think of all the vehicles with GRP bodies commercial and otherwise, and the rest for here and abroad.

Reliant produced a variety of different vehicles including commercials during a production run of over 60 years. Around half a million vehicles were sold in at least nine countries. For a period from the 1970s to the 1990s, Reliant was the UK's biggest British-owned car manufacturer.

There's something like that in a hedge VERY close to the M25 - on a back road leading to the motorway from Waltham Forest IIRC.

Edit:

Looks like the whole property is being cleared - it's a few years since I last saw it.

Top one is an AEC Militant and bottom one is a Bedford TK, I bet the Militant would start if you stuck a battery on it!

The Escort ^^^^ is a bit of a mismatch, bits of it are MK3 and some MK4.

C plate makes it a MK3 but bumper and rear lights are MK4......nerd
