Reliant was one of the biggest automotive manufacturers in the UK, ..bigger than Jaguar and a few others who think they are king of the hill. Their production didn't stop at Scimitars and three wheelers, think of all the vehicles with GRP bodies commercial and otherwise, and the rest for here and abroad. Reliant produced a variety of different vehicles including commercials during a production run of over 60 years. Around half a million vehicles were sold in at least nine countries. For a period from the 1970s to the 1990s, Reliant was the UK's biggest British-owned car manufacturer.
