Indeed it is, proving that all the body panels do come off Panels certainly did all come off - had a few off my rusty 7 year old P6B back in the day.

Anyone remember this from a couple of months ago?
Plate doesn't show any MOT history but the tyres look like genuine metric Michelin's TRX and seem new. Had flat tyres before so it looks like it's going to live again!
I remember looking at these with my Dad in the early 80’s, together with a Rover SD1 3500 and an Audi 100 5E. He’d previously owned a Mk 4 3.0 Zodiac that he detested so the Ford was quickly dropped from consideration. The Rover was not enjoying the best of reliability records so he bought the Audi that was a great car. What he really wanted was a BMW 528i, but they were just too pricey. Dapster said:
Not sure how long this has been here but it's looking rather neglected. Mk 2 Granada, maybe a Ghia or Ghia X but the front fogs look a bit aftermarket....

What on earth is the white thing next to the orange Beetle, I was thinking one of these but clearly not. The garage used to be a giant VW graveyard going on 20 years ago but NIMBY's successfully got it mostly cleared. Everything from T2 buses and vans to a Karmann Ghia were just grabbed onto low-loaders one weekend and weighed in. The orange Beetle is one of the ones that got saved, the garage used to select one from the pile every few months and restore it and that one was next on the list. Haven't seen any restoration activity there though for over a decade, definitely since the house was built. You can see a few more cars are still out the back on Google maps though and there's also a new business pin with a website under construction so maybe there are treasures inside and someone is going to get it all running again as a garage.
EDIT: just spotted the website is dated 2008 so a relic from the last attempt to get it all running. That failed almost immediately.

It's one of the local school buses the owner stores there. Lots there though that haven't moved since pre-pandemic so don't know what's happening with them.

Walking into the yard off the street, I noticed a radio blaring inside one of the garage buildings, and a memorial plaque on the wall to, I presumed, the old owner of the site and business. The plaque said the guy loved cars and motorcycles. The garage used to be a giant VW graveyard going on 20 years ago but NIMBY's successfully got it mostly cleared. Best guess is whoever inside who was listening to the radio was related to the main guy who has been dead a few years. Just chilling out in the garage as a man-cave, wallowing in nostalgia for the times when it was a busier place.
