Goes on a family holiday to Israel and ends up having a dozen or so meetings there including a meeting with their PM and she did all of this without informing the foreign office or Number 10 in advance. Not only that but when exposed she then lies about it saying there were only 2 meetings and claims Boris knew about them in advance before finally admitting that he didn't.

Should she be sacked?

Beeb said:
Former Conservative foreign secretary Sir Malcolm Rifkind told BBC Radio 4's Today programme that it was "extremely unwise" for Ms Patel to have held secret meetings with Israeli officials.
"Not only did she not tell the Foreign Office directly, so far as I'm aware the British Embassy in Israel wasn't aware that this was happening. Now that just shouldn't be done... it's not just a question of courtesy," he said.
Lord Ricketts, former head of the Diplomatic Service, told BBC Radio 4's World Tonight programme: "I can't think of a precedent where a senior minister visits a country, has an extensive programme like this without the Foreign Office, the foreign secretary or even the ambassador in the country knowing about it."
Beeb said:
She admitted a "lack of precision" for suggesting last week that Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson knew about the trip, and that only two meetings had taken place when she attended 12.

This is being interpreted incorrectly.

Look at the level of commitment she gives to this country, even whilst on a family holiday she selfishly gave her time for us !!!

You missed out the bit where after all these meetings she came back and tried to get some of the Foreign Aid budget paid to the Israeli Defence Force as they were doing some "humanitarian" work in a disputed section.

Putting all the dodgy stuff to one side I will say 2 things

1. Its very good that an Asian woman who is a muslim got to meet a jewish PM. Its by doing those things that we break down barriers and remove the unnecessary stereotyping of people
2. She is quite attractive but doesn't score as much on the stonkometer as peoples comments about her would have made me think

Anyway, isn't it traditional to claim business expenses for a holiday and not do any work, rather than go on holiday and do loads of work?
