What classic car would you love to modify?

I love the look of this:

Some people are haters, but I actually think it would be the future!

MGB with a 4cyl 16v BMW engine (from a 318is)
MGB with 6cyl 3.0 BMW engine
Jag XJS restomod (old rubber bumpers, wood trim removed, Kent alloys) with Aston DB7 supercharged engine, or XJR.
Triumph Stag with Mustang V8 and Ford/ Ferguson 4wd (from Sierra/ Granada), a homage to some Ferguson prototypes done.
VW Golf mk3 sitting on Porsche Boxster S running gear. 2 versions, one luxury, one stripped out Club Sport version.
I also have neither the cash or the talent but would love to find a Ferrari 308 with no engine and stick in a 360/430/458 unit. Would need lengthening no doubt so great opportunity to create a 288GTO replica.

David. Just be sure that you don't end up having to cut the monocoque or you'll be in BIVA territory! Had a Wolseley 1500 that I was planning to drop a NA 2-litre T-series from a Rover 220Si into (turbo version from a Tomcat would be interesting too). Had to sell it due to health issues; but I will have another one someday. What colour is that blue by the way? Really suits the car...
No idea about the colour, my O/H picked it from the body shop's samples and as she did OK with her choice for my other One-Point-Five I was happy to go along with it - in any case, I'll be on the inside with an ear to ear smile...

Govt and Brussels desire to control every aspect of people's lives and make sure we all conform to their mindset and heaven help anyone that dares to be different means such fun ideas of transport will not be tolerated in the Fourth Reich
Italian car lover here so would like the below.
Mk 3 Fiat Strada (with clean single headlamp grille from the European diesel version) fitted with Integrale running gear.
Integrale Evo with 5 cylinder engine from the Coupe but with 2.4 bottom end
Normal 2 door Fiat 131 kitted to look like an Abarth with either 5 cyl Coupe lump or Alfa 3.2 V6 24V with twin turbo set up.

Would simply love to put a 75 turbo engine into a 105 coupe! Mk 3 Fiat Strada (with clean single headlamp grille from the European diesel version) fitted with Integrale running gear.

Just helped finish a 1983 Mini Mayfair in resto mod style, so wheel arch extensions, Mk1 grille, 13" Alleycats, tuned MG Metro Turbo engine with an atmospheric dump valve. The rolling road turned the wick down to 105 bhp at the flywheel to prolong its life.
Next one in line will be a Metro/Rover 100 with a MGTF 160 K series.
