Buying shutl postage via ebay - no VAT displayed
Discussion
Hopefully a couple of quick Y/N questions - I sold a few items on ebay, using shutl to buy postage/shipping labels. On receiving the invoice, VAT has been applied. At the time of buying I don't recall 'ex VAT' or similar being displayed, although I do remember seeing VAT on the parcel2go/UPS/Hermes prices.
As these were consumer transactions, do shutl have a legal obligation to display VAT inclusive prices? I'm a bit disappointed that the delivery costs appear to be misleading, and not competitively low.
Do I have a legume to stand on when requesting they remove the VAT from the amount they intend to take from my account?

Point 8.3
A VAT invoice will show the base price and VAT separately, so it now appears "visible" to you when before it was already included.
In answer to your final question .... not a chance.
