I'm now suffering from a chronic case of barn envy!

At last I have got a bigly barn to stick my skanky heaps in. Yay!

My first ever proper sports car was a Mk 1 MR2, Top Red T Bar. E810DPM. It was absolutely faultless and a brilliant car - twitchy handling which I found out when driving too fast on a damp A329M from Bracknell to Reading trying to impress a young lady. 3 full rotations from about 60 to standstill with said passenger getting paler and paler with each revolution! Loved the car, but no action to report with the lady....

I grew up about a quarter of a mile from the Land Rover factory and used to walk past ir on the way to a large local park. My father worked in every division of British Leyland except for Jaguar and Land Rover.

BV - what happened to the Dolomite Sprint? Have I missed somewhere in the bowels of PH reference to its demise/departure?

I thought you'd sold most of the menagerie. Or did you sell it all, to the offshore Breadvan in some complicated laundeing shenanigans?

I sold my SD1 and the Dolomite and two old bikes. The other shonkers are still around. The Granada belongs to a friend, and the UMM to my rockapunkabillyhippygothahipster brother.
