Plenty of other 1983 registered vehicles on this thread. As much as the owner might like to think it's a vintage vehicle, being based on a 1983 chassis (most likely a Sherpa or a transit van I suspect), it's not MOT and tax exempt.

Not sure about the wire wheels but the rest of it looks amazing! Such well proportioned cars - are they any good to drive?
I agree with the wires...! Mine had the original large 3 spokes, great little things to drive,I remember the engine cover was sideways hinged, the original Europe models had solid rear slats, the glazed were for the UK,iirc Mk1's were only produced 77/78 and Mk2's 81/82,they did a "Convertible" version which was just a roll back roof panel. Certainly getting rare though.....Speed 3 said:

On C and C for £150k.
Incredible to think Ford couldn't give them away post Group B. Always thought they'd make a cool road car.Dapster said:

Car drives quite well, concentration required since the brakes are ex factory.
No driver aids of course, it always makes me smile.
In the yard of a garage I use out towards Lambourn the guvnor often has interesting cars.
I forgot to ask it was his his or a customer's but either way someone seems to want to save it.
My brother had one briefly in the seventies. He wanted a Gold Leaf Elan but after he found one in a posh garage they pissed him about unmercifully and he bought the GT6 instead. No, no one could understand it back then either. His journey home included a long fast right hand bend that he enjoyed taking at speed. Until, that is, one evening a Dolemite Sprint overtook him in the bend going considerably quicker and on the tighter line. That was the end of the GT6.
To my eye the earlier one is a better looking car.

Always thought they'd make a cool road car.Apart from the hideous to use clutch, they were the dogs danglies though.....still have my original RS200 sales brochure from my blast around Boreham in one in early 1988....and they still had unsold cars left then. I think the last ones left were sold by the end of that year?

I take it it never goes out in the rain! Looks wonderful a true design classic such as shame that they were so poorly made.
As you probably know they were built by the design company Pininfarina and not Lancia with much debate about branding finally settled by Agnelli one Sunday after lunch.
So they were Pininfarina branded cars on the Friday and Lancia on Monday morning.
No-one in Italy was confused.
Pininfarina were absolutely better designers than they were manufacturers and like all Pininfarina cars they suffered for this.
As you say not that well made.
But they do look good and 40 odd years later still enjoyable to drive.
Just don’t try stopping quickly.
