They are the original 3 stud wheels, though possibly chromed. Not sure about the tyres though. I have some old Michelin TRXs in my garage which may have come from an A310 V6.

Seems an odd wheel and tyre combination?
The tyres fit the wheels and the wheels are OEM.

What's odd?

What's odd?
They look so small in comparison to the arches.

Perhaps, but they're all like that, sir. smile

Perhaps my thoughts have been influenced by comparatively modern vehicles with bigger wheels and tyres that fill the arches.

Yup, looks completely period correct save for the chrome finish

Yes the 3 stud hub design must limit your options. Also very unusual on a 137 mph sports car. They changed to 4 studs later on and used the same turbine design TRX wheel as the R5 Turbo (2). The V6 was very popular with German tuning houses with some very wide Group 4 influenced body kits and big wheels.

I'd never seen (or noticed!) that the early cars used the same design as the 5 Alpine (Gordini). No wonder they changed to four stud later.

A few from local pub meet - first of the season.
Ooh that's near me. How do you find out when the meets are taking place?
Ringmer, Sussex - your profile says Cambridge, have you moved or is it not where you thought it was!

Thought it looked familiar - here's my spot of it in 2018

I wonder if it's original. A proper UK car would have little sidelight units next to the indicators but that's a tiny detail and is no indication of provenance.

Looks to have a strange MOT history

A wander around St John's Wood led to a few interesting sightings, none of which looked like garage queens at all:

Wow @F40.

That Studebaker is my mate’s.

And the Firebird, I spoke to the owner at a servo one day not long after he’d imported it. It’s genuinely one of the original Rockford Files cars, with the RF number plate.

You should close your bonnet.

I had a chat with the Firebird owner - the car only got back from the paint shop yesterday - looked v noice! We both ignored the Italian thing between us biggrin and the owner ignored us biggrin

F40 was the star but there were loads of good stuff there today - thought you might have come along too, you could almost walk there...

Bonnet on the latch to make it easier to show off the shininess.

I don’t think that sun visor does the Mk1 Cortina any favours ...

Excellent. My studebaker mate and his wife were texting me this morning trying to drag me along, saying it was an awesome turnout, but I was horizontal after a looong group ‘bike ride on Saturday, and ensuing drinks, so I couldn’t be arsed, otherwise I would have. Sounds like I should have.

I was trying to spot the owner of the Capri - rego is NO V6 and the back end looks like this, rears are 335 section...

Also like how the cars are all mixed up - no long ranks of the same thing.

And a few other oddballs...
