A Singer maybe?
Singer do very expensive resto mods / complete rebuilds of 911s
Others do resto mods that look like a Singer
Whatever that is ,the speedo is broken ,same miles plus or minus 1 for 7 years of MOTs

Looks very nice in a Gulf type paint job .smile

Probably on their holidays, by mistake.
They've popped into the shop to get some of the finest wines available to humanity....

Lovely '65 1200cc Fulvia in the spring sunshine today

Another weekend and another Fulvia (spotted about half a mile from the first) but not in quite as good nick...

Looks utter ste, and I don't think it's supposed to be a deliberate look.

Plus, misuse of trade plates.

The bonnet is the same colour, whatever colour it is!

Re the horrible rat rod Daimler (above) my immediate thought was Withnail & I, and I’ve never even seen the film. Must have seen so many mentions of the infamous Jag over the years that I instantly associated it.

Would that be a 2.8 Ghia? MoT'd and SORN'd ... languishing in the gloom in the Fens.

The DBS/V8 shape (rare) or the later 'wedge' one?

No.

If it wasn’t a DB era Aston Martin Lagonda I’d assume it was a Mk.2 Edsel.

Many were broken up for parts for their engines, gearboxes and anything else shared with the DB4 and DB5.

I've always thought of these as Lagonda Rapides rather than Aston Martin Lagondas but, either way, a rare sight nowadays.

That's because that's what they are. They were built by AM, but called Lagonda Rapide.

That very car sold at Bonhams Beaulieu sales last Sept for just £51k inc premium, seemed an absolute bargain to me https://www.bonhams.com/auction/27659/lot/542/1963...

Yeah, but apart from that, it looked really tidy under that heavy dew....and this is why I NEVER trust myself to buy anything at auction getmecoat

Those ghastly wheels and tyres do it no favours at all. What would it have originally had?

(Over the last few years I've grown to loath chrome/stainless wire wheels, no idea why. I don't think they look good on anything now.)
