No photos as I was driving but a couple of spots on the M6 around Brum today, first an enormous '67 Ford Galaxie two door hardtop in red with a black vinyl roof, and a yellow Stag later on.

No photos but
Alpine A310 in Balham yesterday - lovely thing being used properly,
Porsche 911 (restomod) in gulf blue stuck in the usual queue on A4, soon cleared on M4 - no tail fin though
E-Type coupe on hard shoulder of M40 in heavy downpour - hopefully just wipers no5 able to cope

I do enjoy my trips to ‘the smoke’ aka new grandson

I'm not sure Jean designed his cars to trundle around South London...

Wow, that 2002tii could be my old car’s brother, albeit mine was a carb-fed 2002 with the correct hub cap wheels.

They have that, and another one (that I'm reluctant to admit I can't recall the make of), in which they ferry guests around the city.

always like the look of those with the hardtop, not crazy big, does not need to be bigger, thats why I also like the Pagoda SL 230/250/280 models with the hardtop.

They had a Series 2 in The Long Good Friday that I watched the other night on DVD. T Reg, from memory. Lovely looking cars - that A Reg one is a Series 3 though I think, they do look pretty similar..

Spotted late last night. Having looked at the pics for the first time when uploading them now, it looks to have maybe been standing for a bit.

They’re dreadful. Shame, as it’s a lovely car

Also what’s with the rear wing vent? Is it for keeping hostages alive, if bound and gagged and locked in the boot?

My friend bought and restored one of these. Looks lovely but drives like an MGB GT.

Vent is for… ventilation (cabin air outlet). One on each side on the E, bit behind on the nearside is the filler flap.

Edit - it was Motor’s road test car:

Not normally a fan of black cars but it has to be THE best colour for those S3 XJs. Edward Woodward as The Equalizer had one.
