Must be a gift for the Bad Parking thread walts.
Considering the acreage of it I'd say the driver has done a great job! But you're right about that thread's occupants...

Really couldn't think of a worse car to go shopping in as that Tesco is always rammed at that time of day.

Yes, he did a great job of parking that. smile

Love the colour of the Vantage.... that would definitely look well parked next to my little collection...yes
I'm especially a fan of an 840 in Dakar Yellow wink The Vantage isn't for sale, I love the colour too much!

Spotted the Bentley in the Mercedes Benz World car park on Saturday morning (most likely there for the Historics auction) and spotted the 512 TR taking it easy on the M25 near J10 of the M25 earlier on that morning.

Always loved those S Series Bentleys, especially the 3 with quadruple headlights, still an imposing looking car even now.

It does have them, just difficult to see with the dark colour and angle of the photo.

Easier to see in this shot of a '60 Caddy.

From a time when car design was an Art form.
I love the fact that today (and especially here in the UK) these are seen as so outrageous and over the top, but at the time they were just that year's Cadillacs, serious cars driven by businessmen. I once saw, but have been unable to re-find, a period photo of a man in a very sober suit parking his '59 Caddy on a quiet city street among what looks like offices of accountants and lawyers.

Jag in Palm Beach Florida.
Not many classics around despite it being (by uk standards) nice and warm.
The locals think it's a bit chilly at 20 degrees!

Sorry, phone sidewaysy thingy!

That looks a bit nicer than the one at H&H Buxton this afternoon.

The interior is nicer than the exterior, but I wonder why there are volt meter, rev counter and water temp gauges stuck on the top of the dash when all those are in the standard instruments. Inexplicably the body has many holes with riv-nuts inserted, around the windows. For fitting riot shields, perhaps. I forget what it sold for.

I wondered if it was the handbrake but didn't think an XJS is a suitable drift car.

Perhaps it is.

It was built for the tv show 'Curfew'. Sold for a £4800 bid wink manual gearbox and hydraulic handbrake (not sure how well that works with inboard brakes), and the side exhausts are fake.

If the £4800 was for the tv show, they overpaid.

I quite liked the show, even with some poor CGI etc. Some interesting cars (such as this one), and Sean Bean survived for longer than expected.
