My first boss back in 1990 was a blond haired shoulder padded, fitted business suit vamp - all cascading hair and red lipstick, and she had an E30 325i Coupe with the factory M Tech sport body kit with the BBS cross spoke alloys as a company car. She'd come out of her office and perch on my desk and purr some completely unrealistic demand with a deadline of yesterday, and I'd just melt and agree spluttering gibberish. She was so absolutely suited to the image of that fantastic looking car!Looked like this

Spotted in an underground carpark in Southern Spain, local estate agency parking sticker on screen but a bit dusty...

Leaf springs. Even the FF had leaf springs. There was an Interceptor marooned on the Chiswick roundabout years ago that had suffered the indignity of an axle and car unscheduled disassembly. One felt one should enquire. An enthusiastic, but technically deficient, restoration was blamed.
"Shouldn't these be done up?"
"Nah, it'll be fine."
Bumped into this chap the other day while out for a Sunday spin, ironically in a petrol station. Both cars the same colour, which was a rare spot for me. Usually called midnight blue, but iirc it was really Westminster or Clarendon (?) blue. Docs just say blue...
The lad in the background gave it some proper V8 welly as he pulled away.

Is that your Mk 2? Are there additional vents on the top of the bonnet or a reflection from the canopy? The lad in the background gave it some proper V8 welly as he pulled away.
