Here s a few from today
Austin A35 pick up - only 477 made according to Wiki. G reg though, which looks a bit strange - registered in March 1969 - so a VERY late one.

That's an Austin 1/2 ton pick-up based on the A55. Also they were marketed as Morris 1/2 ton pick-ups.Austin A35 pick up - only 477 made according to Wiki. G reg though, which looks a bit strange - registered in March 1969 - so a VERY late one.
It was a B registration Minivan. No speedo, no fuel gauge and the battery was loose. It had a push button starter on the floor. He was behind me as we waited for a gap to pull onto the roundabout, he thought I’d gone when I hadn’t. When I got out the back doors were about halfway down the van. It was the first time I’d ever sworn at someone I didn’t know. Anyway, he gave me a phone number, address, and his name and went our separate ways. It was only when I got home that I realised the name he’d given was Albert Hall!
Of course my dad told me that was the last we’d hear about it but later that evening his boss rang and he sent a cheque for the full value the next day. £70!
A couple of days later i was driving around in a 1957 pink and cream pre-lowline Mk2 Consul.
I hate those 1/2 tonners.

Is that the same car? The first post doesn't look like it has the big arches. The top picture is definitely not a Vantage Valonte with the body kit.
They were available as the (cringe) PoW ‘Prince of Wales’ Vantage Valonte without the body kit but all the other mods done.
Supposedly the plate could have been legitimately changed between pictures, and the concept of someone owning multiple Aston V8’s isn’t beyond comprehension.
There used to a be a couple of Aston Martins local to me that wore the same private plate.
I can’t think why you’d risk the hassle from the law to do such a thing, vanity works in strange ways though.

I head in a podcast recently that, because the fine for wearing the wrong plates is so low, some wealthy people just get whatever plate they want made, and stick it on their car, even though they don't own the registration number.Stick Legs said:

Prince of Wales spec! Of course! I always thought Prisoner of War spec seemed odd. The top picture is definitely not a Vantage Valonte with the body kit.

I once passengered in a 1968 Pontiac Firebird 400 H.O. (6.6 litre, high output) which had been tweaked a bit to roughly 500bhp.When I asked the owner of that what mileage he got from it he casually replied "About 6 or 7 mpg".

Sale details here including interesting blurb on how it came to be "minty"https://rmsothebys.com/auctions/mo24/lots/r0157-19...

what a difference a color makes, I do like the color, but the magic aggressive is gone so it looks, very strange to my eyes, I see the same car but it gives the Barby vibes as in sweet, not tough?
Red look aggressive and sporty but a bit boring Red, black one looks fantastic.
yes this blue-ish also, but so difference in looks, I did not expect to be honest.
