COOL CLASSIC CAR SPOTTERS POST! (Vol 3)
Discussion
It's strange how things happen; I went for a walk to clear my head this afternoon and one of the thoughts that drifted past was that I haven't seen an E24 6 series BM for donks. On the drive home my head nearly spun off when I drove past a gorgeous dark blue F reg 635csi. I went back for a look and it didn't disappoint at all, really nice condition. A few minutes late I went past a pale metallic blue E39 M5 which looked in very good nick too.
Of the two it would be the 635 for me. I've liked them since they first came out.

Enormous, even by modern standards. Looked weirdly compelling in this state, too...
I love how bonkers and scifi (of its time) 1950s American car design was. Such optimism.
Not sure Americana does it for me (too before my time) but that Corrado certainly does! Looks like Duke of London. They do have some top quality stock there.I love how bonkers and scifi (of its time) 1950s American car design was. Such optimism.

Excellent colour choice on that one and I think the wheels suit it too.Has anyone else noticed that the new 'nostalgia' Citroen ad on TV has failed to show a DS anywhere?

This doesn't look long for this world. Looking at the MOT history I can't help thinking that the owner is throwing a lot of money at the problem....
Note: Herald photobombing the background
Tidy looking Audi Coupe
O/T, Dapster, but is that Muswell Hill? There are quite a few tasty motors tucked away in them thar hills...including IIRC a Gilbern round the back of Queen’s Wood, although it is a few years since I recall seeing it last.Note: Herald photobombing the background

Tis indeed. Since lockdown started I've taken to doing a morning run and usually take a random route around Muswell Hill, Crouch End, Highgate, Finchley etc - the amount of 1) tasty motors and 2) classics left to die tucked away is amazing. Often just boring old stuff no-one will care about, but occasionally there are some pop up headlights, period wires or quad exhausts poking out from under a tarp....Gassing Station | Classic Cars and Yesterday's Heroes | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
