Between Leytonstone and Stratford today, came across this 2.8 Daimler Sovereign parked outside my old infants school. It really had a patina. smile

Spotted this lovely Herald in Douglas, love the wing mirrors!

Driving over the Mountain road recently I was behind a low loader carrying what looked like a hedge find Pug 106 Rallye. Covered in a film of green moss, sporting aftermarket wheels & a roll cage it had obviously had quite a life. Hopefully it was off to be restored & not for parts.
I know who owns this, he also runs a Triumph Vitesse and an MGC roadster.

Something I have never seen before and didn't know existed - a Peugeot 304 two door coupé. Pity I didn't have my phone with me to take a picture.

You never see them these days but I remember during our family driving holidays in France in the 70's and 80's they were everywhere!

Thought it looked familiar - here's my spot of it in 2018

I wonder if it's original. A proper UK car would have little sidelight units next to the indicators but that's a tiny detail and is no indication of provenance.

Ooh that's near me. How do you find out when the meets are taking place?

A mate of mine did for one of them back in the 80s. He crashed it into and partially under a hay trailer behind a tractor.

I saw him the pub with a few mates and said "how did you get your broken leg and other scuffs and scrapes?" He told me the story and we've been mates evert since!

That’s fantastic. Still looks somehow other-worldly 40 years on.

Seems an odd wheel and tyre combination?
