A couple I spotted on Monday. Many lovely cars out and about in the sun.

Lovely xr4i in the car park at santa pod today. Immaculate. Shame it had the cossie grill though.
Wrong wheels too (those are RS extras, it originally had the 8-hole Ghia ones). Nice though, Dad had one when new and it ate its (then new) 5-speed ‘box, replaced under warranty. I liked it, it was great for long distances.

Coincidence - my mate has a lovely black XR4i with the original pepper-pots!

I think he bought it for a trip down nostalgia lane as he had a Caspian Blue one many years ago that did many track days along with his Golf GTis, XR3is, etc. and that XR4i was the only car that drove home from every one. laugh

This has been parked in the same spot for years, slowly disintegrating, but somehow the tyres stay up...

In Ramsey for today's curtailed hillclimb:

Plenty of other lovely vehicles but I didn't hang around, the weather was (& still is) awful.

Two for the price of one, both with a bit of patina..

Shame the Volvo doesn't have graphite alloys.

I'd hate to think he's using opposite lock as he turns left that close to a junction! eek

Rubbish! smile He's checking the road is clear, and perfectly clipping the apex as he exits the t-junction

Only the first page of the new thread and already so many fabulous cars. The Pantera is the standout one for me atm.

Saw this old lady just now..

Very nice - manual V8 with ET headrests in the front and Lucas 'Eight' foglamps, quite the catch when it was new. I think the colour might be Scarab Blue or Corsica Blue.

Funnily enough I've just seen another one, in a rich BRG, and it looked immaculate. No photo as I was driving.
