Despite living near to DK Engineering I never seem to see their cars on the road for their photoshoots.
Finally saw one this week when out running, their own Ferrari 500 TRC. Looked and sounded great as it was blasted up a national speed limit stretch of road.

What is it with German cars and dashboards that crack? Look at the damage around that grille...
It's a US car. I don't think many dashes of that era do well in hot US states; German or otherwise.
Yeah, I figured it was US-spec, but my point is that German cars seem to fare really badly with cracking dashboards. Try finding something like a 924 / 944 without cracks: the bodywork, mechanics and upholstery may well look lovely, but the dash will be in about 10 pieces.

Perhaps a product of the "high quality" interior plastics they allegedly use.
My 944 dash was great when I got it seven years ago, but living outside all year did for it and it cracked, which was a shame, I do have a perfect replacement I need to get round to fitting …

Yes, my Mum had a 1971 Fiat 127 when I passed my test and I loved "borrowing" it - or maybe "thrashing" it may be a better description!

Sadly my Dad had a stroke soon after she got it and needed a wheelchair for the rest of his life so she replaced it with a 128 Estate which was hateful!

If only she had got a later 127 hatchback, but in the early 70s there weren't too many hatches around.

This is either a cool car or a rotting Classic.
I wasn’t sure which.

A 360GLE Injection.

Wow that’s a proper rarity in RHD. Great find. I hope someone restores it.

Most of these got lost to the drift scene a few years back. When I was at uni my neighbour had two on the drive.

Apologies if I have posted this before, but I saw this immaculate one in March 2020.

A real rarity as it had a manual gearbox! I believe the owner also has a 130 Coupe.

That's a factory hardtop but is that a GT6 bonnet? Where the heck did those wheels come from? Too small.

The wheels are from a Triumph Spitfire.
