The trailer in the background could be in the "Classics Left to Die" thread! It's been there for years!

Saw this yesterday - the bit of it I could see was in amazing condition. No wonder really, just checked the MOT history and it's done 200 miles in the last 8 years.

Insane Alfa Romeo Montreal with all the patina. It's smaller than you think.

nice, I saw also at least 2 TVR's also some lovely other cars, looked like a great day, sunny weather, lots of people and cars.
Seems there were 3

And this Sunbeam Talbot once used & signed on the sun visor by Sterling himself when he was reunited with it in 2009.

I know the "thread is useless without photos" but...

Yesterday I drove back to Bournemouth from deepest, darkest Essex, having driven up on Friday. During those 260 miles I spotted a few classics on the road but the three that most stood out were an orange Lamborghini Miura on the opposite side of the M25 on Friday. Then a white V12 Jaguar XJ-S with blue convertible roof (on an 'E' prefix plate with ?American headlamps?) being trailered south on the M3 yesterday. And probably the least glamourous, but one I've spotted a few times in the past, a slightly scruffy looking black Vauxhall Viva HC three-door estate driving down the M3 near Farnborough. among other things it had what looked like a CB antenna on the roof.

^^^ I always thought the ring around the fuel filler cap was a nod to the mint of the same name! A bit like the golf ball gear knob on its bigger brother.

Identical to my first car, bar the alloys (and absence of rust). Haven't seen a mark 1 like that for years, Good spot.

An Inca Yellow Spitfire in the shadows … on an X plate … super rare as the last one off the line at Canley (also yellow), was a W reg.

Apologies for Polo pedantism, but that is an air vent. The fuel filler was behind the usual flap, low down on the other side.

I like the polo mint idea though. Mine was so rusty my friends called it the car with the holes...

Saw this in Buckinghamshire a couple of weeks ago.

Can't be many of these left. Still showing as taxed so possibly not abandoned.

51 Morgan in Barnard Castle, there appeared to be some sort of Morgan meet/rally as a succession of them moved through the town, this one was parked off the high street with its tonneau cover on. Delightful and very clean.

Neither cool nor classic in my opinion, but it is based on a Fiesta.

Shouldn't that be in a shopping centre waiting for kiddies to put 20p in?
