Good point. Thought the lack of front grill was an age/arduous use thing but the headlights on closer inspection are modern. Maybe.....BWS 161L is how I read it.

Well that's a coincidence - I have a good friend who spotted the Daytona coupe last year in North London and sent me a picture - taken while he was out in his own silver Cobra...MDMA . said:

I live reasonably close to Woking. I have to take my hat off to someone who wants to drive there at all on a dreary December day, let alone in a motoring icon.Makes me think I'm too precious about my lowly bits of motoring ephemera that are now put away for the winter.
But then again I don't have bottomless pockets.

On a holiday in the Lakes, Mrs C and I went off piste to look at the high altitude scenery. We were on a narrow road with passing places and stones in the road, some of them substantial, from minor rock slides when we came across a newish Ferrari going the other way.Makes me think I'm too precious about my lowly bits of motoring ephemera that are now put away for the winter.
But then again I don't have bottomless pockets.
"What's he doing?" I demanded of Mrs C. "Bringing a car like that up here!"
"It's his car. He can do as he likes."
Oh, yeah. I suppose you're right. Put me in my place and no mistake.
