I didn't know the name was used earlier, but the Zircon used on most ARG in the early/mid eighties was quite light, the darker metallic blue was Moonraker. I'm certain the Ital is Zircon but I'd always thought it came in around 83 on the Ital when SL/SLX replaced HL/HLS.

Berlin, 1977...
In those days, there wasn't such city as Berlin. West Berlin perhaps. Or East, which is highly unlikely for this photo to take place in for that matter.
Back in pre-unified Germany, East Berlin registered cars would have an "I" prefix while cars registered in West Berlin would have the style they still have today with a "B" like the Lambo. So nothing suggests that that photo isn't indeed West Berlin in '77.In those days, there wasn't such city as Berlin. West Berlin perhaps. Or East, which is highly unlikely for this photo to take place in for that matter.

Rover's Zircon was used on P6s from about 1964, not sure when it was phased out on these in favour of Scarab Blue
The blue was called Atlantis for the final couple of years of the P6 models in 76/77.P5BNij said:
