Classic Wings & Wheels 2019 was a lovely saturday full of sun, food, good company and spectacular cars. In the afternoon military planes entertained the crowds.

Epic sight at the early morning entrance. What better place to enjoy a classic car show than an airfield?

Ferrari Club Holland display.

Back lit view from the paddock tents. This Alfa had touched a BMW 635 CSi...

Ivo Noteboom warming up the six of his Maserati 6CM.

Harry's mighty Meteor engined Petersen Bentley did not ran the oval but treated the crowds with its 27 litres of sheer thunder.

Legendary Hirondelle by Van Zalinge: https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Henk_van_Zalinge

Nice view from the Ferrari Daytona Competizione.

Sunbathing after a stroll through the paddocks, merchandise and many car club line ups or just enjoying the plane show.

Contrasts: pre war Lancia and contemporary Italian stuff.

Great event when you're into Jensen:

OMG what a stunning piece of Jensen this: 541S in twotone.

Jensen Healey if you don't mind!

Gorgeous details at the many prewars. Bentley was a theme as well BTW.

There's one!

Quite a few great looking Jaguar E-types I did not mind.

Great pictures. Where was this by the way?

In the first post, the Maserati has me intrigued - you reference it as a 250F, yet it seems to have a 4CLT body?

A humble 2CV always gets all the attention despite the far more ferocious beasts on the parking. Especially when it's a van.

Didier Dohmen 's Trumph TR6 in my 2nd favorite colour after lavender.

Anton's arrival. Look at that gorgeous Jensen C-V8.

Jensen Interceptor packs a Chrysler V8. Were it a cripsy 383 or a mighty 440.

Classic racer David Hart has eyes for Randall Lawsons Grac F3 open wheeler. Grac was active from 1971 until 1983.

It's more like a Jeep innit? Good idea to replicate to a proper TR6, so with a longer bonnet wink

Fantastic details on the MG TD Special van Alexander van der Lof.

Webers are the classic racing car fans' porno.

Incredible machinerie at display and this was one of the more odd examples.

That's a way to close a fuel cell...

My favorite car brand shows its best incarnation of the lettering.

Yes. I didn't realise it was Norev's logo.

Will have to come up with another logo of my own ;–)

The amazing Bootsma Beast:

Petersen built special with a 27 litre Meteor in.

Nice Alfa Romeo Giulia GT fast road spec next to the Bentley display.

Pre war is all about the details.
