Some weekend fun.

We all know lots of surprise movie cameos from Glenn Close as a pirate in Hook, Tom Cruise in Tropic Thunder and Matt Damon in more or less every film in the last ten years.

What about TV though? It’s got to be a total surprise though. If Brian Cranston turned up in Better Call Saul it definitely wouldn’t count.

I’ll get the ball rolling with Mark Hamill playing Bob the cafe owner in Man Down.

ETA attention seeker, seeking attention doesn’t count. So no Ed Sheeran in GOT orBoris Johnson in Eastenders.

I think at the time, Johnny Depp was the most surprising.

I reckon Liam Neeson as god is the modern equivalent.

Is that on Doc Martin, was she complaining of stomach pains?

Most names just played themselves, but a few were characters. Clive James as a Postman was the one I remembered.
